ACES
A strong academic program is a necessity to encourage a love-for-learning outlook among our young ones. BCFI wants children and families to see learning as a life-long avocation. Learning together as a family strengthens relationships and leads to stronger, more successful students. Through the years, BCFI programs have enriched the lives of thousands of Greater-Lansing children and families of all races and cultures, helping them to achieve academic, vocational, cultural, and social success. BCFI is an effective and diverse organization that serves the entire community offering hope and assistance to children and their families in a courteous and caring environment.
After School Tutorial Program

Students get tutoring after school!
The After School Academic and Cultural/Enrichment Scholars (ACES) Program is an educational development program providing academic assistance to students in kindergarten through 12th grades. Staff and volunteer tutors provide one-on-one tutorial services for students in grades K-12 for academic support. Students are placed with tutors from MSU’s Service Learning Program. Students bring their classroom assignments to the tutorial sessions Monday-Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. ACES follows the Lansing School District calendar for days off.

 Summer Enrichment Camp

The Summer Enrichment  Camp is designed to strengthen academic and social skills to students in kindergarten through 6th grade. During the camp, certified teachers, college interns, and community volunteers, will assist camp participants in reading, math, world language, choir, drama, computer technology and other subject areas.

The camps typically run late June through the end of July. For information on the 2010 Summer Enrichment Camp please check back here in May 2010 or call Jennifer at the number below.
